По Грузии прокатилась волна арестов лидеров оппозиции. 6 сентября по обвинению в организации заговора с целью свержения государственной власти и ее захвата было задержано 29 членов партии "Справедливость", движения "АнтиСорос" и Консервативно-Монархической партии. Президент Грузии Михаил Саакашвили заявил, что наказание задержанных, обвиняемых в организации государственного переворота, станет предупреждением для их покровителей.
В финансировании партии "Справедливость" грузинские власти обвиняют – это уже никого не удивляет – опять Россию. Заместитель министра иностранных дел Грузии Валерий Чечелашвили заявил, что Грузия поставит перед властями РФ вопрос о расследовании на территории России источников и происхождении финансирования партии Игоря Гиоргадзе.
Представители оппозиции считают, что постоянные обвинения в адрес России для президента Грузии Михаила Саакашвили уже стали "идеей фикс". "Саакашвили пришел к власти незаконным способом и теперь боится, что точно таким же способом его этой власти лишат",- заявил лидер оппозиционной партии лейбористов Шалва Нателашвили. "Более того, как человек, которого привели к власти деньги иностранных государств, он видит опасность во всех политиках, которых финансируют из-за рубежа", - добавил он.
В МИД России заявили, что аресты оппозиции в Грузии – это внутреннее дело Грузии. "Что касается обвинений со стороны Грузии в адрес России, то это даже не нужно комментировать. Это уже стало традицией, что во всех своих бедах Грузия обвиняет Россию", – говорится в заявлении посла по особым поручениям МИД России Юрия Попова.
Председатель Партии, Председатель Госдумы Борис Грызлов считает, что режим президента Михаила Саакашвили стал авторитарным:
- Последние события в Грузии свидетельствуют о том, что там установлен отнюдь не демократический, а авторитарный режим. Когда в Грузии произошла так называемая "революция роз", то насильственно был введен режим новой демократии. Массовые аресты оппозиционеров - результат этой революции".
Заместитель Секретаря Президиума Генерального совета Партии, первый вице-спикер Госдумы Олег Морозов:
- Заявление официального Тбилиси о том, что в подготовке заговора с целью свержения власти там видят "руку Москвы" – это ни что иное, как попытка переложить все с больной головы на здоровую. Не думаю, что в России есть какая-то нужда с помощью каких-то инструментов свергать этот режим - он и так шатается". Российская сторона никак не может принять в свой адрес подобные обвинения. Наш принцип - невмешательство в дела других государств. Пусть сами там у себя разбираются.
Первый вице-спикер Госдумы Любовь Слиска:
- Меня уже давно перестали удивлять заявления представителей властей Грузии о каком-то российском вмешательстве в дела этого государства. Во всех неудачах режима президента Саакашвили официальный Тбилиси винит Москву. Меня удивляет другое. То, что, видя массовые аресты оппозиционеров, правозащитники Запада почему-то молчат. Если бы что-то подобное случилось бы в России, то обрушился бы шквал негодования, а тут полное молчание.
